In 2019 with more innovations from smartphone companies in the pipeline, we can expect high-end phones to cost even more. With each passing year, top-end smartphones have been seeing their prices go up north. It all began with iPhone X in 2017 which was the first mainstream high-end phone to break the Rs 1-lakh barrier and since then phones have been costing more. So  Here are 5 of the most-expensive devices of all-time:

Gresso Regal Black Edition Luxury Android Phone

Gresso just also just launched a $5,000 worth Android smartphone – the Regal Black Edition. The high price comes from the titanium and 18k gold put in instead of aluminum in this phone. The phone also has a PVD-coated titanium case and a white or yellow 18k gold trim. There are only 999 pieces and the phone has a 5-inch full HD display, Quad-core 1.5GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

Externally you can see a sophisticated design with sharp lines. There are beautiful dark tones and a 5-inch full HD display for viewing contents.

 

Vertu Aster Diamonds Red Alligator

Vertu, although now closed, is a famous Luxury phone manufacturer. Their latest and last model launched in 2017 – named the ‘Aster Diamonds Red Alligator’. It has been made with 55 white diamonds over stainless steel case alongside a polished titanium plate.This phone is covered in red alligator leather and white diamonds.

It has a 4.7-inch screen with 1080p resolution and Sapphire crystal glass protection. Each device is made by hand for uniqueness and has Android Marshmallow Operating system with 2.3GHz quad-core processor.Interested people can purchase the device for around €8,900 (around $10,550 or Rs 7, 00,000). This is a top end model from the Vertu’s Aster collection.

Samsung W2015 Luxury Flip Smartphone

South-Korean giant Samsung announced its upcoming Luxury Flip Smartphone W2015 with Snapdragon 801. The Korean giant has used metal as the build materials for its premium devices. It is priced at around $2450 (INR 1.5 Lakh). The device available in two colors of black and gold colors. Samsung W2015 luxury phone has been already released in China Samsung has used steel structure to make this more durable. This is also a foldable handset.

Lamborghini 88 Tauri phone

Lamborghini’s luxury smartphone is called the 88 Tauri phone. It is available for $6000. And according to sources, only 1,947 units are made, for exclusivity.They have used high quality steel (available in Gold, Black or plain steel colors). For the price or material used, the specs of this phone are not at all impressive.  There are options to choose from Black, Blue, Red, Orange and Brown. It has a 5-inch 1080p resolution screen with Quad-core Qualcomm 801 processor, 20MP rear camera, 3GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in expandable storage. It has a face lift of fine leather.

 

Gresso Azimuth A1

The world’s first luxury dual SIM phone from luxury smartphone makers Gresso is called the Gresso Azimuth A1. There is only 1000 that will be made. The cost of the phone is around US $2,000. It has a luxury design and uses high-end materials. It is a premium handset with a case made of grade 5 titanium.  The technical aspects the device are a partial failure.
