With each passing day, Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case is getting more complicated. Recently, Times Now got access to Sushant’s personal diary which revealed that the late actor was planning to venture into Hollywood.
Yesterday, Anupam Kher during an interview with Times Now was asked if he inspired Sushant to plan for Hollywood as the veteran actor has featured in a number of projects in the West. Mr. Kher said that Sushant had his dreams, he wanted to fly. Anupam went on to say that he was inspired by the late legend Om Puri.
Actor mr. Kher, who worked with Sushant Singh Rajput in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, says he can’t believe that a lively person like Sushant Singh Rajput could die by suicide. In his latest interview with Times Now, Kher talked about his equation with the late actor, his observations about his personality, and why Mahesh Bhatt’s name has cropped up in the entire case.
Anupam Kher said that both the family and the fans of Sushant including him ‘need closure in this case.’ The actor said he has nothing to say against Bhatt who allegedly said that SSR was ‘going the Parveen Babi way” but he himself doesn’t think that the late actor was on drugs or he died of over-drugging. The veteran actor added that he has a lot to thank Bhatt for including his career in the industry and he won’t say anything that looks disrespectful towards him.
He also paid a tribute to Sushant by singing ‘Gham Ki Andheri Raat Me’.
Meanwhile, the ED has interrogated Rhea Chakraborty, her family, Sushant’s former manager Shruti Modi, flatmate Siddharth Pithani and others in the past weeks in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case.
On the other hand, CBI has recorded statements of Sushant’s father KK Singh, sister Priyanka singh and his other family to record their statements. Also, the CBI is waiting for the Supreme Court’s permission before they launch a proper probe in Maharashtra.
